Sollers says to relaunch Vladivostok plant on July 17
VLADIVOSTOK, Jul 7 (PRIME) -- The plant of Russian car producer Sollers in Vladivostok will be relaunched on July 17 to produce pickup trucks under its own brand, a spokesperson told PRIME on Friday.
" Sollers’ car plant in Vladivostok will resume operations on July 17 and will start to produce pilot series of a new line of pickup trucks that will be sold on the Russian market under the Sollers brand," the spokesperson said.
Sollers used to produce cars under the Mazda brand at the plant in the framework of a joint venture with Mazda. In 2022, the plant was halted and at the end of 2022, Sollers bought the stake from the Japanese partner.
